Job Type: Full-time

Location: Coatbridge, Scotland

Key responsibilities and duties for this position:

– Assist in annual audit, prepare and finalise company tax documents (VAT Return, Corporation Tax, Personal Tax etc.) and advise management on taxation matters
– Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
– Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial transactions
– Assist in the preparation of budgets and management accounts
– Provide financial analysis and reporting to management
– Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
– Utilise accounting software – SAP to perform daily accounting tasks
– Prepare and maintain financial records and statements for the organisation

What we expect from you:

– Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
– Accounting qualification or actively training for qualification e.g. CA/ACCA/CIMA is desired
– Proven 3-5 years experience working in financial services or a similar role
– Experience working with accounting software, ideally SAP
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Experience working with Excel to an intermediate (or higher) standard
– Experience mentoring junior staff members is advantageous
– Friendly approach to all members of the organisation
– Demonstrates a positive attitude
– Proficient in Mandarin is preferred
