Job Type: Full-time

Location: Scotland (Cotabridge Depot)

Responsibilities:

– Assisting customers to order the right parts

– Receiving and dispatching parts

– Helping solve customer enquiries face to face and over the phone and email

– Process sales transactions, including raising invoices and credits for goods supplied and handling returns

– Co-ordinate with other departments, such as the service desk and the workshop

– Compile parts from job cards for repairs being carried out in the workshop

We are a small team, with a Parts Supervisor, a Parts Advisor and warehouse operatives, so you will be involved in everything we do and gain a lot of hands-on experience throughout your apprenticeship. 

What will I learn?

Regular assessment and reviews will be undertaken within the apprentice’s own workplace which aims to ensure they have the required skills to successfully complete their apprenticeship.

– We are looking for candidates who want to kickstart their career in the automotive industry and who are keen to learn

– You must be dedicated and have a proactive approach to your work and learning

– You are able to prioritise and work to timelines

– A willingness to work in a practical environment using your own initiative

– Good IT skills and an ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly

– Attention to detail

– A full UK Driving licence preferred but not essential

What qualifications or qualities are required?

You must have or expect to gain National 4 or above in English and Maths
