SANY UK has strengthened its position in the UK’s plant equipment market following a significant order from long-standing customer H. E. Services (Plant Hire) Ltd, which has invested more than £1 million in SANY machinery, including a substantial number of the fully electric SANY STH625E telehandlers.

The order represents another milestone in the growing partnership between SANY and one of the UK’s largest specialist plant hire companies, while underlining increasing demand for practical, zero-emission construction equipment across the industry. Alongside the new electric telehandlers, the investment also includes SANY electric excavators, including the SY19E and SY35E, further expanding the availability of electric SANY equipment within the UK hire market.

Driving the Transition to Electric Construction Equipment

As construction projects increasingly focus on reducing emissions, minimising noise and improving environmental performance, SANY continues to invest in the development of electric machinery that delivers the productivity customers expect while supporting sustainability objectives.

One of the latest additions to the range is the SANY STH625E, a fully electric telehandler designed to meet the demands of modern construction, industrial and urban applications.

The compact machine offers a maximum lift capacity of 2,500kg and a lifting height of 6 metres, while its narrow overall width of 1,850mm and cab height of 1,920mm enable operation in confined and restricted working environments.

Powered entirely by electricity, the STH625E can deliver up to eight hours of operating time, depending on application and working conditions. The machine also benefits from an integrated energy recovery system to maximise efficiency and features a range of charging options to support flexible site operations.

Supporting Customers Across the UK

The latest order from H. E. Services reinforces the growing acceptance of electric construction machinery within the UK market and demonstrates the confidence major fleet operators continue to place in the SANY brand.

Leigh Harris, Business Development Director at SANY UK, said:

“H. E. Services has been a valued partner of SANY for many years, and this latest investment demonstrates their confidence in both our products and our long-term vision for the future of construction equipment.

“The introduction of the fully electric STH625E telehandler represents an important step in helping contractors access practical zero-emission solutions without compromising on performance, reliability or productivity.

“As demand for sustainable equipment continues to grow, we’re proud to support H.E. Services in expanding their electric fleet and making this technology available to customers across the UK. This order reinforces the strength of our partnership and highlights the increasing role that electric machinery will play on construction sites in the years ahead.”

A spokesperson for H. E. Services said:

“As demand for low and zero-emission equipment continues to increase across the construction industry, we’re committed to investing in products that help our customers meet their sustainability objectives without compromising on performance.”

“The SANY STH625E stood out as a machine that delivers the lifting capability, operating time and operator comfort required for modern construction sites, while offering the environmental benefits that many projects are now demanding.”

“We’ve built a strong relationship with SANY over a number of years and have been impressed by both the quality of the products and the support provided by the team. The addition of these electric telehandlers is another positive step in expanding our sustainable equipment offering to customers across the UK.”

Growing Demand for Electric Machinery

The addition of the STH625E telehandlers to the H. E. Services fleet represents another significant step in SANY’s wider strategy to expand the adoption of electric construction equipment throughout the UK and Ireland.

With contractors increasingly seeking lower-emission solutions for urban developments, infrastructure projects and indoor applications, SANY’s expanding electric product range is helping customers transition to more sustainable operations without sacrificing capability or performance.

As more machines enter service across the country, SANY remains committed to delivering innovative, reliable and productive equipment that supports the evolving needs of the construction industry.
