  • Stepping up at Daglingworth Quarry
    Stepping up at Daglingworth Quarry
Heritage Quarry Group puts the UK's first SANY SY750H to work at Daglingworth Quarry, backed by growing fleet confidence, strong dealer support and a five-year / 5,000-hour warranty.   The road into Daglingworth Quarry gives little away at first. Tucked into the Gloucestershire countryside near Cirencester, it is the sort of place where the landscape still does most of the talking. Stone walls, open fields and the soft colours of the Cotswolds surround a working quarry with a long history beneath its surface.   Follow the haul road down into the site, though, and the scene quickly changes. Engines echo…

SANY Rules at Clyde Coast Contracts
Clyde Coast Contracts are close to achieving one of their ambitions in business: to run a 100% SANY excavator fleet. The Ayrshire based company, which has more than 45 years of experience in the construction industry across Scotland, is clearly a big fan of the brand and recently added another new SANY SY135C to the fleet.   Awesome Earthmovers travelled to Scotland to see this new addition working alongside a variety of other SANY machines on a major construction project to deliver 202 homes on the site of the former maternity unit at Ayrshire Central Hospital in Irvine.   Clyde…

SANY SY500H makes a big impact at Hall Construction Services
When digger operator Alan Mayman was told he was getting a new excavator, he didn’t know what to expect when he arrived on site that morning, and when he discovered it was a SANY SY500H, he still didn’t know what to make of it as he was not in the least familiar with the brand.   But as he has told Awesome Earthmovers, he has been thoroughly impressed by its performance, by its power and by its build quality. “It’s a nice smooth machine, with plenty of power, has a great comfortable cab that is well insulated to keep out…

The new SANY SY215C impresses at Midlands Landfill
It was B&B Tractors who was one of the first SANY dealers to put out the upgraded SY215C Stage V engine excavator to a UK Customer.   The excavator has been delivered to local recycling contractor Midlands Landfill who has replaced an 18-tonne machine with the SANY. Primarily used to load a mobile crusher or screener, the smaller SANY has been reported to be nimbler and more capable whilst delivering lower fuel consumption and increased cab comforts over its predecessor.   “We took a Stage VI machine in demonstration for a short period of time.” Explains quarry Foreman Lee Jacks;…
  • ReCon Waste blown away by SANY
ReCon Waste blown away by SANY
Established 10 years ago, ReCon Waste, headed up by Managing Director Daniel Connolly, not only processes and recycles waste materials, but also focuses on the construction and agricultural sectors and operates a mixed fleet of machinery.   The two new machines – a 16-tonne SY155U short-tail-swing and a 21-tonne SY215C – are the first SANY excavators in the ReCon fleet and Daniel says won’t be the last as his operators have been, in his words, ‘blown away’ by their driveability, performance and comfort.   Investing in the SANY excavators wasn’t a decision the company took lightly. “We shopped around for…

Field & Forest Machinery is a well established equipment supplier, specialising in machinery and attachments for the arboricultural industry throughout the UK.  After supplying a customer with some forestry attachments for a SANY SY26U, Tom Brown of Field & Forest was so impressed by the 2.6t mini digger, he bought one himself.   "I could not believe how well built the SANY excavator was and then saw how well it performed with the forestry attachments I supplied" commented Tom. "I had a requirement for a 2.6t machine to add to my hire fleet and have not been disappointed by the…

Another SANY in the Scottish Highlands with Migdale Building
Migdale Building is a building contractor based in the beautiful town of Bonar Bridge, nestled in the heart of Sutherland in the Scottish Highlands. Owner, Robert Sawyer, decided earlier this year that he required a new 2.7t mini excavator to add to his business in order to meet busy work load demands. After reviewing the market for many months, Robert decided on a SANY SY26U and has not been disappointed!   'I spent some considerable time reviewing the mini digger market and decided on SANY because they offered the best value for money when it came to specification and components'…
